What We Do

Fabric Decides How Your Garment Feels — And What It Costs

Most brands describe what they want in adjectives: heavy, soft, structured, vintage. Our job is to turn that into a specific fabric and a specific weight.

GSM (grams per square metre) is the number that does most of the work. A 180 GSM tee and a 280 GSM tee are different products at different price points, and a 320 GSM hoodie feels nothing like a 480 GSM one. We source knit and woven fabrics across that whole range, send you physical swatches, and lock the approved fabric against your style so reorders stay consistent.

Products We Source Fabric For

Why It Matters

How We Handle Fabric

Swatches Before Bulk

You judge weight and hand-feel physically. Fabric is the one thing that should never be approved from a photo.

Weight Matched To Budget

If a target price will not support 450 GSM, we say so early and show you what the achievable weight looks like.

Locked Against Your Style

The approved fabric and supplier are recorded against your style so a reorder does not quietly drift lighter.

Low 50-Piece MOQ

Test a fabric on a small run before you commit a season to it.

FAQ

Common Questions

We source cotton fleece, polar fleece, French terry, waffle knit, 100% cotton jersey, linen, mesh, ribbing, denim, leather, wool and satin. Knit fabrics for hoodies, tees, tracksuits and sweatpants are our core; woven and speciality materials are used for jackets, panels and linings.

We work from 180 to 500 GSM. As a rough guide: 180-220 GSM for lightweight tees, 240-280 GSM for heavyweight tees, 280-350 GSM for mid-weight hoodies and sets, and 380-500 GSM for heavyweight premium hoodies.

GSM stands for grams per square metre — it is the weight of the fabric, and it is the single biggest driver of how a garment feels and what it costs. Two hoodies cut from the same pattern will feel like different products at 320 GSM and 480 GSM.

Yes, and it is the most reliable way to communicate what you want. Send a piece you like and we will identify a comparable fabric and weight, then send swatches for you to confirm before sampling.

Yes. We send physical swatches so you can judge hand-feel, weight and surface texture directly. Fabric is the one specification we recommend never approving from photos alone.

Yes. The approved fabric specification is recorded against your style, so repeat orders use the same material rather than a close substitute.
