The Certifications That Actually Matter
- BSCI (amfori) — a social compliance audit covering working conditions, hours and safety. Increasingly required by EU and UK retailers.
- ISO 9001 — certifies a documented quality management system, which is what makes consistency repeatable across orders.
- OEKO-TEX / GOTS — material-level certifications. Relevant if you market organic or chemically-tested fabrics; usually held by the fabric mill rather than the garment factory.
